Texting

How come you can't even get two seconds into a conversation with someone online anymore without them saying, "Text me!" What if I don't have phone? Or I'm not much for texting? What if I feel we haven't talked enough yet to transition into texting each other?

What is our obsession with texting someone before you even know what their favorite color is? Or who their hero is? Why is everyone rushing into things?

Why cant we all just slow down, and take it one day at a time? Why can't we all slow down, and get to know each other before we jump into things?
